The infamous Met Gala is swamping our news feeds with the best and worst dressed lists, the hot and nots of the celebrity world and snaps of the craziest, most beautiful and unusual gowns designers are eager for you to see.
So what did we think of this year’s famous event? From a personal point of view, Balmain remains one of my favourite designers for classic lines, beautiful embellishments and striking detail yet I doubt I’ll ever be able to afford the hefty price tag. That aside, it was a real showcase of quirky metallic styles and space age wares alongside some rather unusual design.

There were plenty of A-listers sporting rather shiny space age style at the Met Gala including the gorgeous Cindy Crawford, Taylor Swift and a show stopping Lady Gaga (you wouldn’t expect anything less).
