I do love a good fashion show and the Bath in Fashion event didn’t disappoint. Also being lucky enough to get a front row seat, I got a prime view to check out all the new SS16 fashion straight from Southgate Bath‘s retailers including tons of highstreet names. So everything you see in the gallery is ready to go for your spring/summer wardrobe.

SS16 trends overview
The summer season is always a winner for colour. The catwalk lite up with fantastic neon colours and vibrant tones. Hush displayed a stunning beach collection with Miami-inspired brights and Boux Avenue showed a beautiful display of summer swimwear, perfect for your next holiday.
A favourite of mine was the retro inspired vibe from French Connection, the FCUK logo is back with a bang and gave a little nostalgic feel to the collection. Primark went for romantic feminine looks with ditsy florals and delicate lace detailing, pulling inspiration from 40s style and celebrities such as Taylor Swift. Bath’s home grown store Instant Vintage gave us retro style with eclectic twists and boho chic vibes.
There were many brands that brought classics to the table, which is what we love them for. Laura Ashley, East, Next and Seasalt displayed simple yet crisp designs, giving an effortlessly beautiful look for spring/summer 2016.
You can see from the gallery, there were plenty of lovely spring/summer items to fall in love with. I especially enjoyed the quirky pieces as I’m a bit of a magpie for the unique but there is tons of choice out there to indulge in. If you’re visiting Bath, you can’t miss the shopping area of Southgate and you’ll find all your favourite stores and some you didn’t know about just waiting to be explored. Happy shopping everyone!
This ends my round up of this amazing week of fashion and I can’t wait for next year. Don’t forget to check out all my posts on Bath in Fashion and get a flavour of this fabulous event.
So until next year……..
