Review | GlossyBox Monthly Beauty Subscription

This review contains products that were kindly gifted to me by GlossyBox and an affiliate link.

I’ll be honest, subscription boxes in any form have always felt like a bit of a luxury to me even though they are often great value. I suppose it’s all that trying to get on the property ladder stuff that put a halt to my little treats (and to be honest who doesn’t like a treat now and then!). Although I’m still pretty careful with my money, there are a few things that I just can’t live without. Skincare being one of them.

I have my favourites, and until now, I have been reluctant to try new products for fear of breaking out – I have crazy hormonal skin too!

Taking me outside of my comfort zone, I recently had the opportunity to try the popular GlossyBox subscription. My first box was the ‘Delicious Beauty‘ box in September. As the name suggests, it was full of treats that were good enough to eat. Not really knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by what I received. The monthly subscription is £10 a month, but there are a few options, so if you sign up for a few months the cost is lower. There are always great deals on too where you can save money on your first box!

Check out what I got in the September box:

Palmers Coconut Hair Mask

Delhicious Beauty Tea Scrub

Mitchell & Peach Eau de Parfum

MAYY Banana Powder

Carex Hand Gel

Colgate Max White Charcoal

GlossyBox x bareMinerals

I must be the only person never to have tried bareMinerals products. But thanks to GlossyBox, I had the opportunity to try five products in the Limited Edition box. As you can imagine, it sold out really quickly, and I’m not surprised. I’ve been trying these out for the past few weeks, and I’m in love.

I’m using the products daily and absolutely adore the face serum. The makeup is also super light on my skin and didn’t cause that annoying break out phase when you’re changing beauty products!

In the box:

bareMinerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion

bareMinerals Clean Glow Bronzer

bareMinerals BAREPRO Glow Highlighter Drops

bareMinerals Prime Time

bareMinerals Lashtopia

October GlossyBox

Getting into the Halloween spirit, my GlossyBox for October was Angel vs Devil. Whether you received an angel or devil beauty selection was the luck of the draw and, of course, to match my angelic ways (lol!) I got my hands on lots of heavenly products to pamper myself.

In the box:

Lord & Berry Maximatte Lipstick Crayon in Angellic Pink

STYLondon Angel Eyeshadow

Bubble T Angel Bath Fizzer Powder

MCo Beauty Black Eyeliner Pencil

Que Bella Illuminating Holographic Peel Off Mask

Whittard Angel Hot Chocolate Sachet

GlossyBox Advent Calendar

Beauty calendars are everywhere at the moment, and every year we look forward to what goodies are on offer.

The hotly anticipated advent calendar from GlossyBox has arrived. I’ve kindly been gifted one, so I can share all the products with you as I open them in the run-up to Christmas. You may have seen unboxing reviews already. But I’ve decided to keep it a little surprise for myself and haven’t even looked at the product list! I love that it’s a little gift to myself in what can be a busy and stressful time of the year.

What’s more, is you can get an advent calendar for £70 when you sign up for your first GlossyBox and the products inside are worth over £370!

Go on, treat yourself

For me, beauty and skincare have always been a way to pamper myself, especially when I’m feeling a little blah. By subscribing, you also have the opportunity to try out products that you may never have purchased yourself. The beauty of GlossyBox (pun intended!) is that you aren’t tied into anything long-term either if you don’t want to be. All-in-all, it’s a fab way to treat yourself for the equivalent of a weekly latte.
