Get Glowing Skin This Winter With The Pro Co.

Words by: Natasha Henson

I’m quite fussy when it comes to skincare. I’ve tried many different types of beauty products, and it’s safe to say that quite a few of them just don’t agree with my skin. However, previously I did scrimp on my skincare routine, sometimes just splashing a facial wash over my skin in the hope that got rid of all the makeup. But since then, I’ve switched it up dramatically.

My skin is certainly a combination type. It can be greasy one minute and dry as a bone the next, but I put that down to the weather mostly (and not my love of chocolate of course!). But keeping it glowing is a big challenge for me. I hate moisturisers and serums that are too heavy, and it can’t feel like my makeup is going to slip off my face.

So in my search for perfect skincare, I was recently introduced to The Pro Co.

The Pro Co.

To give you a little background, The Pro Co. have created an exciting brand of vegan-friendly products, made here in the UK and each has proven ingredients that complement your skincare regime. Plus, they have partnered with Offset Earth to plant trees across the globe with every product purchased donating to this cause. Each product also comes in 98% plastic-free packaging – click here to find out more about The Pro Co. and its ethos.

So far, so good, but what about the products. Take a look at how I got on:

7% Micro Encapsulated Retinol Serum

This product was one I was eager to try out, I mean, who doesn’t love something that helps keep the wrinkles at bay. You only have to apply a few drops to get full-face coverage, and it glides on smoothly and absorbs quickly to give your skin a nourishing bedtime treat. The morning after application, my skin felt smooth and hydrated, and I can’t wait to see the results after a few months of using it.

Eye Rescue Serum

The skin around our eyes is so delicate, and thankfully I don’t suffer too badly with dark circles. However, anything that can keep that at bay is another win from me. This product again is super lightweight on your skin, and you only need a drop under each eye to get good coverage. It can be applied morning and evening after cleansing, and so far, my skin here has looked brighter and more hydrated.

20% Vitamin C with Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Hyaluronic acid is having a bit of a moment in skincare, and it’s not hard to see why. It revitalises the outer surface of your skin and when formulated with Vitamin C; this is certainly a product you need in your beauty bag. I use this in the morning after my cleansing routine and have noticed a difference in the feel of my skin. It’s smoother and has helped reduce the blemishes on my cheeks (I have slight pigmentation from teenage acne). I can’t wait to keep using this to see further results, and I’ll share how my skin’s doing over on my Insta stories.

Of course, everyone is different, so why not try them out for yourself to see the results.

These are super affordable skincare solutions at just £7.99 each, but you can get 20% off your purchases via the links below:
