3 Unique Ways to Successfully Market Your Creative Business

Every business owner should have a marketing strategy if they hope to succeed. There are lots of different things you can do and you’ll probably need to experiment somewhat until you find something that works, but it’s certainly worth investing your time (and maybe even some budget) into promotion. You may need to get in touch with an SEO agency or put a retail sign up outside your building but eventually, you will notice some return on investment.

Here are three ideas to get you started:

  1. Work with influencers

There are hundreds of bloggers across the globe, some more successful and influential than others. Do some research and find a blogger that you think would be worth working with and suitable for your business. If possible, they might be able to write a review about your product or service, but it’s likely that they will require some sort of incentive. Regardless, this is a great way to not only build brand awareness but also get a link to your website (which is great for SEO).

  1. Giveaway branded items

Promotional gifts are great because they help attract new customers whilst also retaining existing ones. For instance, if you’re a beautician, you could give away a branded nail file or something similar as a way to say thank you to your clients. They will then be reminded of you every time they use the item. Alternatively, you might be attending a big corporate networking event, which would be a great opportunity to give away branded water bottles or stationery. There are so many different items you could personalise so choose something that represents your business.

  1. Share your expertise

You might not feel like it at times, but you’re an industry expert. With that in mind, you could share your expertise in the form of blog articles, e-books or even a seminar. Share some of your trade secrets and let people know how you can help them become a success.

The possibilities are practically endless when it comes to marketing and what works for some might not work for others. It’s wise to listen to your customers as their feedback will provide you with some helpful insights that you can then put into practise. Even if your company is 10 years old, there are always new things you can try as a means to reach your full potential.
