Spring is almost here, and with the surprisingly warm weather we’ve been having for February, you may have started thinking about your spring/summer fashion staples already.
There were several trends storming the designer catwalks of SS19 including nude tones and traditional spring fabrics such as lace and artisanal design. However, colour (the brighter, the better) was entwined into several collections making it a stand-out addition to pastel palettes, traditionally associated with spring.

It’s exciting to see how brands work new season trends into wearable ranges. Bright colours and bold pieces are often considered challenging to style. Spring is a great time to experiment with style. One of the big trends for winter faux fur is also making it’s way into SS19 ranges to provide a stylish outerwear option for cooler evenings. This super soft ANELLI faux fur pea coat is ideal with a variety of outfits. However, not one for tradition, I took the opportunity to style my favourite piece from the ELVI spring collection with a slightly edgier vibe.
Of course, you can wear it with a dress, plus it’s perfect with occasionwear especially if you have a wedding coming up. But, it also looks great with Doc Martens too 🙂
