Review | Eco-Friendly Prints From The Princess and The Pickle

Words by: Natasha Henson

Prints are a huge trend in interior styling at the moment, and they have been one of my favourite ways to decorate the walls of my home. They offer an affordable way to change up a room, and also if you’re anything like me, you don’t have to commit to painting it for fear of choosing the wrong colour.

The choice of wall art is growing and you’ve probably seen the wide selection of prints that have popped up online and in stores. Due to the popularity of them sometimes you can find everything a bit samey. So when I was introduced to The Princess and The Pickle, I was pleasantly surprised by the different designs on offer.

The Princess and The Pickle unique designs

These prints are not just your run of the mill designs that you see time and time again. They have been created by artist Helen and are artistic reproductions of original photography. Helen originally started an online journal of her inspirations and designs. This then flourished into The Princess and The Pickle brand, and you can find gift cards, prints and clothing each with her funky designs on.

Sustainability is at the heart of The Princess and The Pickle brand

The beauty of these prints is that not only are they a fab addition to your gallery wall, they’re also eco-friendly too. They are made with recycled card which gives the print a matte finish. Plus, there’s no plastic packaging in sight either, as this is made from a plant-based biofilm.

Take a look at how I styled the Flamingo print on my growing gallery wall.
