The festive season is nearly upon us, so there’s no better time to start thinking about your party outfits. If like me, you’re ready to add something sparkly to your wardrobe then there is tons of choice out there to inspire your new buys.

You can’t go wrong with a black dress for the party season. However, you don’t have to stick with traditional styles to turn heads this year. Why not opt for dresses that have subtle detailing around the waist or neckline. I particularly love one-shoulder styles too, and this example below is the perfect balance of sophistication and sass.
Shine bright like a diamond
What’s the party season without some sparkle and if like me you want to go all out this year, add some sequin detail for good measure. Sheer fabrics and neutral colours are another big hit this year, and pair perfectly with glam party looks. Bring the party
For anyone that wants to liven up the party, why not opt for a colourful dress for this year’s shindig. Red is an ideal option due to the fact it’s Santa’s colour of choice (naturally!).
