If like me, you once suffered for fashion when it comes to footwear – you’ll probably be pretty picky about what you wear nowadays for fear of painful blisters and squashed toes. It’s not just what you wear outside, either! Slipping your feet into cosy socks or slippers is the ultimate in comfort, especially if you’ve been on your feet all day.
I personally love a pair of slippers due to having wood floors which can be chilly, particularly in the winter months. Although I am a fan of fluffy indoor footwear, I was recently introduced to a brand that has reinvented the traditional slipper.
Designed with comfort in mind, mahabis is an award-winning premium slipper brand that incorporates Scandinavian lifestyle and aesthetic with innovative design.
The mahabis concept
mahabis are on a singular quest to create products that allow you to enjoy time well spent. The Scandinavian mindset is the very heart of the brand, both in terms of lifestyle and a simple, universal aesthetic. They have a deep respect for heritage and a love for innovation and searching for perfection in the everyday.
Comfort, both indoors and outdoors
Slippers have to be comfortable, that’s a given! So after slipping into my feet into the fabulous mahabis flow slipper, I wasn’t disappointed. These slippers are super soft and lightweight. Plus, they have a neoprene cradle on the heel that stops your foot from coming out. Yay, no more near accidents on the stairs when your slipper decides to fly off!
Also, the beauty of these slippers is that they have a hybrid sole so you can wear indoors and outdoors. And you won’t be embarrassed doing a late-night supermarket run with your pyjamas under your coat!
I chose the slippers in Andora Sand, as I’m a big fan of neutral colours. But there are lots of more to choose from including the new Pastel collection which would work well with athleisure looks. Check them out here.
All-in-all, these are a fab addition to your loungewear collection so go try them out!
