For many, the summer wardrobe has started making an appearance.  With sunny weather and the holiday season finally here, it’s a great time to choose some special pieces to complement the warm sunshine.  Pretty floral prints are always a great look to add a touch of femininity and cute hues to an outfit.  Summer florals are perfect for occasionwear and if you’ve been invited to a wedding this summer, I’ve picked some of my favourite floral print dresses to add a touch of glamour to the celebration.

There is so much choice on the high-street and online with plenty of bargains to be had. My top picks feature some beautiful dresses from the House of Fraser collection.  My inspiration comes from a love of contrasting colours, this could be anything from a colourful print against a stark white dress or elegant pastels against a softer fabric.  I also love vintage styling so my choices take highlights from a bygone era with retro cuts and funky styles.

My top picks feature something to flatter all shapes.  If you love bright and lively prints, then Phase Eight and Yumi have given you some great choices with eye catching and statement design. If a softer vibe is more your thing, Ted Baker and Lipsy have some fabulous examples of delicate fabrics and soft pastel florals.  All of these dresses are perfect for the wedding season and al fresco parties.
