Bristol Bloggers Meet 1.0
Last weekend I attended the Bristol Bloggers Meet 1.0 hosted by the lovely Chloe from Beauty and the Girl. Â I met Chloe at the Bath in Fashion events back in March where she talked about wanting to run an event for South West Bloggers. Â Her hard work paid off and this inspirational young lady hosted a lovely bloggers meet at the Cosy Club in Bristol.

This event was a great platform for meeting local bloggers and because there wasn’t heaps of us, everyone got to sit, chat and listen to each other and a range of brands talk openly and honestly. Â The blogging community inspires me with each person having an interesting reason and passion for starting their blogs. Â I met some fabulous ladies at this meet and hope to get together with everyone again soon.
The event started with a chat with Liam at OTR (Off the Record Bristol), an organisation close to Chloe’s heart. Â OTR support young people in the community and offer services that promote positive mental health and resilience. Â It is an inspiring charity and they are currently working on a new creative project – Inspiration Works. Â This project will help young people express their personality and offers a range of workshops, advice and therapies.

Other brands we saw during the event included Weleda and Chelsea Candle.
Weleda showcased their great beauty must have, Skin Food. Â We were shown a really simple facial to try at home and were treated to a fab goodie bag to sample this natural skincare range.
Chelsea Candle also introduced us to their scrumptious smelling range. Â I absolutely love candles and these smell incredible. Â Chelsey who started the brand explained why she loves writing her own rules and was a real inspiration for people looking to start a career or business they truly love.

The event was fantastic and Chloe did such a great job at getting everyone together.  We were also treated to an incredible goodie bag (see below) and I can’t wait to try out everything.  Thanks so much Chloe, I can’t wait to come along to your future events 🙂
